Pipe bursting is a trenchless sewer replacement method where we break apart the old pipe underground using hydraulic machines and tools. While doing this, at the same time pulling into place a seamless pipe that is usually the same size or larger than the old pipe.
Trenchless sewer replacement involves making small access holes where the damaged pipe starts and ends. Using this method, you can save up 40% compared to traditional trench methods. Using standard trenchwork can be expensive and damage your property. Sanders Plumbing provides the sewer repairs underground without the mess!
How is this possible?
By using a professional plumbing sewer camera, Sanders Plumbing can identify the problem. Our technicians are able to evaluate your needs and recommend the best solution for trenchless sewer repairs. The camera is usually run through your kitchen/laundry lateral lines and or sewer main lines.
When accessing the sewer line, we dig two small holes at either end that we insert a cable that has a cone shaped bursting head. This is fed through with our trenchless technology and hydraulic machines. This process allows the new pipe to be Inserted in place of the old pipe. The bursting head is attached to a new seamless, heat-fused HDPE pipe. As the bursting head is pulled through the old sewer line, it simultaneously breaks apart the old pipe (even cast iron) and pulls behind the new pipe.
There is no need to have another plumbing company sell you on having to dig up your yard to solve your sewer problems. More then likely, they will charge your more for the job and dig up your property because they didn’t invest in the trenchless technology like we have.
